This year’s Nobel Prize announcements start on Monday October 4th, with the revelation of the identities of the new Medicine Laureates. As always, Nobelprize.org will be bringing you as close as possible to events as they unfold during the 6 days of the public announcements.
Every announcement will be webcast live on Nobelprize.org, the new Nobel Laureates having themselves generally received the news by telephone from the Nobel Prize awarding institutions just minutes beforehand. Seconds after the news is made public, we post press releases and any supplementary information, quickly followed by live video interviews with representatives of the Nobel Committees. Then, during the hours that follow, we’ll be adding photo galleries, telephone interviews with the new Laureates and ‘Speed Read’ summaries of the Nobel Prize-awarded work. To keep up with the very latest news and information available on the site, sign-up to our news feeds.
You’ll find the announcement timetable below. So why not put the dates in your diary and enjoy the news as it breaks.
