Dear friends and colleagues,

eaaci.net is back in a summer of heat (some places!) and relaxation with fresh, ''cool'' news and some sizzling educational resources. We offer you new webcasts and slide kits as well as an interview and brand-new editorial from the EAACI Vice President. Have a great summer and see you all in September for more news and activities from the EAACI Web Management Team!

The EAACI 2.0: The new EAACI Vice President on Communication & Membership is Vicky Cardona. She welcomes the emerging media era with her < STRONG>Editorial on the EAACI 2.0 vision, the ways it can be implemented, and the challenges that lie ahead.

e-learning: Your digital education encounters continue with a selection of webcast presentations from the XXVIII EAACI Congress in Warsaw, 07-10 June 2009. You can now access the first series from our EAACI experts in an easy-to-follow, flash-based format. This application is limited to our membership, so please make sure you have your username and password at hand!

Science on the sands : To continue our long-standing tradition of summer allergy schools, the EAACI is organizing the next Allergy School on Hymenoptera Venom Allergy in Ancona, Italy, 03-06 September 2009. This CME-accredited school addresses all allergists with an interest in insect sting allergy and venom immunotherapy.

Slide Kit: The next Slide Kit Series is presented by the recent EAACI & GA2LEN Summer School in Mykonos under the theme ''The State of the Art in Pediatric Allergy and Asthma''. Access our broad selection of presentations from leading speakers, free of charge.
         & nbsp;
On-site interviews: Luis Delgado, our second interviewee from the 2009 Warsaw Congress, is EAACI Vice President on Education & Specialty. The professor is also a member of the Scientific Programme Committee and one of the most active figures within our Academy.

With Best Regards
