New Book

  September 2009

Dear friends and colleagues,

Here at eaaci.net we start off the autumn with more news and educational resources from previous and future EAACI events. This month's bulletin features the first in a new series of Case Reports, all DOI-registered, as well as more webcasts and slide kits from Warsaw 2009 and the Mykonos Allergy School, respectively. Plus, all the latest info on upcoming EAACI events is now available online!

e-learning on eaaci.net: Your digital education experience continues with new webcast presentations from the XXVIII EAACI Congress in Warsaw, 07-10 June 2009. You can now access the second series presented by allergy and immunology specialists in an easy-to-follow, flash-based format. This application is only accessible for our members, so please make sure you have your membership number and password ready before you begin your lessons!

Advancing science ... through meetings: This year's final Allergy School takes place 03-06 September 2009 in Ancona, Italy, but the EAACI mission continues with the EAACI Pediatric Allergy & Asthma Meeting hosted by the EAACI Section on Pediatrics 12-14 November 2009 in Venice, Italy. The deadline for registration is 30 September 2009, so make sure you sign up on time and keep yourself up to date on the latest developments in the field of asthma management and research, as well as breaking news about food allergy, drug allergy, and anaphylaxis in children.

Solve the case: eaaci.net launches a new set of Case Reports presented by Junior Members and Affiliates at the Warsaw 2009 Congress. Read the first presentation by Dr Teresa Sao Simao and challenge your aptitude by trying to find a possible diagnosis. All Case Reports are DOI-registered, so feel free to cite them appropriately in your own work.

Slide Kit: The Slide Kit Series from the recent EAACI & GA2LEN Summer School in Mykonos is now enhanced with a new presentation: Allergen Specific Immunotherapy in Children by Moises Calderon. Access this and our broad selection of presentations from leading speakers, free of charge.

With Best Regards
